Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are one step closer to bringing the original Internet gossip and conservative heartthrob Matt Drudge to campus for a talk on how awesome gossiping on the Internet is.What does that mean? Well, we googled "Matt Drudge speaker fee". And we found something! It's unclear whether this website is a phishing scam or an actual site that books famous people for colleges, but we'll take our chance. Also suspicious is the fact that this site mentions his talk show in the present tense, as if he didn't leave it a year or so ago.
Anyway, given that we know Drudge lives in Florida or something, and will ask for at least $20,000, we're going to need all the help we can get. Hey, Harvard University, you have money!!!!! May we please have a thin slice of that $35 billion endowment cake to educate ourselves about new media? Isn't college all about learning about new media? Please?
