Gossip Geek Fixation Brian Kaufman ’10 Makes it to the Big Leagues

Here at Gossip Geek, we try to keep focus on the campus’ biggest stars- the names that circulate around your dining hall table like that container of distilled salt and napkin (unless you live in Kirkland). Sometimes, however, we enjoy giving you a heads-up on the campus’ next big thing, and we’re happy to see that our first purely GossipGeek-made international superstar, Brian Kaufman ’10 (of On Harvard Time, IOP, and, recently, Dem Apples fame), has made it big- well, bigger than we have, anyway.

Yes, our protégé has reached the highest pinnacle of campus fame, the TMZ to our Perez Hilton, IvyGate. Before this, he was a shadowy figure shifting gears around at the IOP and making Rahul Prabakhar ’09 look like Dan Quayle, but every since his debut on our pages, the lad has developed quite a following, and moved on to greener pastures on several blogs and leadership positions in the local Kiwanis Club of Fresno, CA.

Apparently, our hero appears on the national campus scene due to his undocumented fancy artwork skills. He allegedly drew some stick figures, much to the delight of the IvyGate staff, because these stick figures somehow slighted our great institution. We still can’t really figure our what’s going on with them, but we assume this solidifies his status as a bona fide celebutante now that he's rumored to have disappeared off to the Netherlands for the weekend (Alex Copulsky '10, a fellow blogger who has been begging us for centuries to mention him, has become the ship's temporary captain).

We would like to extend a sincere congratulations to our compatriot in his struggle for exposure. Use your fame wisely!
