While the Crimson will (erroneously) tell you who the hottest 15 freshmen, we decided that, because we're generous, we'll do 30 of the freshmen to watch. That does not mean they may be the hottest thing since sliced Fiona Fong '08, but they will be a major facet of Harvard. And for this ambitious task we'll try to tackle as many areas as we can think of. It's happening every 2 days, so stay tuned if you want to be enlightened.
We will begin our profile by looking at the oft-maligned but ultimately important (in some ways) fixture of Harvard's campus: yes, the Undergraduate Council. Harvard's student government, with its ridiculous voting process and opaque machinations, will for few be the center of their Harvard lives. For others, it will either be the focus of great change or, for others, simply ignored. Now for our two freshmen to watch: the first is a future UC president and indication of the domination of the Quad for the next several generations of the UC. The other is a Midwestern ladies man whose charm and politicking could set the River on fire come next semester.
-Freshmen/Sophomore Profiles are all penned by Charlotte Corday, for anyone keeping count.
