As I am sure you have all taken note of, summer is slow and easy (expect for that pesky 9-5 job, of course), and the tips we've gotten have been few and far between. We, of course, have some sizzling hot Ben Bolger pics and other surprises up our sleeves, but we're saving those for when the hits go up (which means you have to work more if you want better stuff!).
Anyway, that is not the reason I am writing you all today. Today something much bigger is on the line. The fate of America is in our hands this year, and the pickins are slimmer than even when it appeared that the specter of evil that is Al Gore was about to descend over our unfortunate nation. Republican candidate John McCain, besides his atrocious geography skills, has very little time to live according to Chuck Norris. Democratic pick Barack Obama isn't any better- lacking any experience or a platform.
So today I proclaim the official stance of the Gossip Geek staff (without actually consulting anyone on the GG staff) to be pro-Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr. As a gossip blog, we strongly support a decrease in government intervention in everything, especially freedom of speech and of the press, and we are afraid that any other president besides Bob would uphold a libel suit against us.
