David Boswell Test Balloon Floats into Liberal Hopey Sky

In a GossipGeek exclusive, we have scooped that Andrea R. Flores '12 is seriously considering David R. Boswell '11 to be her Undergraduate Council running mate in the Fall 2008 elections. It remains unknown if this information was slipped intentionally from the Flores camp as a test balloon to divert attention from her seeming Fred Thompson-ish attitude towards pursuing the office. Still, it could be a deliberate attempt to test the strongly conservative, ROTC Boswell among the "I wish Barack Obama was more liberal" Ivy League electorate.

This is a stunning turn of events from Flores, who finds herself alone among the candidates with 3 years Council experience. Her once thought running mate, Jon T. Staff V '10 ditched the UC for a high-class semester-long field trip to Amsterdam earlier this year. There are few obvious matches for Flores, who is rumored to have icy relationships with Anthony R. Britt '10, Daniel K. Kroop '10 and shares a mutual bristliness with the other front runner, on-again-off-again SAC member (and permanent fixture on the hedonistic finals club/polo-playing celebrity Benjamin S. Schwartz '09).

Little is know about dark-horse Boswell, a native of George W. Bush Texas and an MIT-frequenter. Early pundit reactions speculate that Boswell's emergence may be related to his cozy relations with Harvard's black community; however, one is left to wonder the fate of Nworah B. Agoyu '10, who completes the Ay-Bo-Sta of Blocking Group UC switcharoo menage-a-trois.
