When we last left Nikita Makarchev '11, also known as that guy who comes up to you and starts a cordial conversation consisting exclusively of "legend" and "allow" when you need to finish that response paper the most, he was doing his thing in his humble abode at Lamont Library Café (a home even the Harvard Facebook recognizes at legitimate and native to him). Lately, however, reports of Nikita being absent from his post in Lamont have made us extremely concerned as to his whereabouts. Nikita, where have you gone?And then, of course, the tipsters saved the day. We found Nikita posted in various places across campus, including but not limited to Sever Hall, Holworthy, Raven Books, the Quad, and the Kennedy School. He is, of course, in his nature a café type, however, so we're not surprised that he has taken to meals at the Greenhouse Café- meals which have fortunately been documented by you, the people:
We have also gathered reports that Nikita has moved his library HQ to a much quieter, less-undergrad populated center: Langdell Library. He has been spotted in at least two different desks in the area:
Nikita is one of the more enigmatic characters we have yet to follow around campus. Unlike limelight-seeking celebs like Randall Sarafa '09 or Marcus Miller '08, Nikita has no obvious mission to run freshmen brothels or intimidate people with piercing stares. And even unlike more undercover agents like Tyler G. Hall '11, it is unclear who he is fighting for, or even if he is fighting at all. He speaks in code, he lives in cafés, he sleeps in libraries.
