About that Interview... Open Bar!!

It's not even Camp Harvard week yet, and we've already found our brand new star of 2008-09! He's this dude, Christopher Augustine Ballesteros '12- not sure if you've heard of him. Anyway, he's agreed to an interview, but because we're lazy and busy packing, we're opening up the court for you, the reader!

So we're strongly encouraging everyone to submit questions by Tomorrow 7 PM. Ask anything your heart desires ("Do you really hate the UC as much as we do?" "Boxers or briefs?" "How much for those wedding photos?") and we'll pick the best and brightest and send them over, along with a few choice picks of our own. Open Bar Day!!

**Edit** Most of those are rhetorical questions, you douches. Those don't count- go back to the drawing board. Also, all GG interviews are conducted via email or gchat, so that's how we maintain our "secret" identities.

You should ask him why the fuck he thinks he's better than everyone else and should be allowed to break the rules and go unpunished. Here's an ubermensch if there ever was one.

Guy above is right. As a follow-up you should ask him the following yes or no question: is your ego as big as your arrogance?

Why should anyone vote for him over any of the other overzealous, misinformed freshman who think they can rule the world?

Why should we vote for a politico when I'm sure there are other people a la Matt Sundquist, who really give a damn about students and making Harvard better? And don't say you care, cause you don't. You, Chris are all about you and becoming president. Why not save us all some time and let people decide upon someone who is slightly more caring?

It's obviously briefs. Not boxers. Not boxer briefs. But briefs.

Why is this Chris guy even doing the interview? Seems to me that he really enjoys the spotlight, even in the face of controversey. Not the kind of person that will get far in the political world. Not anymore.

The real question is, how will GG conduct the interview while keeping the identity of their writers "secret"?

matt sundquist is the worst thing to happen to harvard. what a douche.

How about... What makes him better than all his other classmates, most who are more inspiring, hardworking, and selfless people?

Is he gay?

Ask him: Do you aspire to be the disingenuous prick that Matt Sundquist is?

ditto the spotlight comment. it looks like chris is actually enjoying all this [negative] attention. what a douche. i haven't even met this kid yet, but i have this wild feeling that he's going to annoy the hell out of me. i'm gonna laugh when his campaign crashes and burns.

Agreed.

Why do you keep breaking the rules? Why am I STILL getting campaign messages from you?

Well... in my view, I don't see why someone would reject an opportunity to fix their reputation by sharing to the public what they are really about through an interview. Instead of jumping to the gun and criticizing before listening to what he has to say, let's give Mr. Ballesteros a chance to explain himself.

Now, onto the point of this post... I have a few questions to offer.

1. Do you have any prior experience in management positions that you believe prepared you well enough to become a UC Representative?

2. Why do you want to serve as a UC Representative?

3. What core values and ideas do you have that make you best suited for this position?

Hm, that's about it... I hope you can make use of some of these questions.
